The first three types of breeders are the ones who's puppies and dogs end up in the animal shelters. Also families who don't supervise dogs in heat (accidental pregnancies) and or don't spay and neuter their dogs or have "one litter for the kids"  are also apart of the animal shelter problem. The parents of these puppies are not health tested (however they may claim they are, just to gain a sale. Ask for results).

Just because a dog is AKC or CKC does not mean it came from health tested parents and a clean environment. Many of the puppies in puppy stores are from the first 3 types of breeders. No Hobby or Professional Breeder would sell their puppies to a puppy store. It is important to us professional Breeders to know where are dogs are going to live out their lives and if there ever comes an unfortunate situation and the dog needs to be re-homed, it is in our contract that the dog needs to be returned to us.

Our goal is to better our breeds. We do this by doing genetic health panel tests as well as OFA and Pennhip certifications. We pair our parents carefully and also provide genetic health guarantees. We also look at temperament of both parents and choose personalities that compliment each other. We do ENS with our puppies which is explained below in the video. We also follow Puppy Culture Protocols and BadAss Breeders Curriculum with each puppy. These are very beneficial and important steps to a dogs development, it has long lasting and positive effects. These puppies are healthier and have are more balanced.

Badass Breeder-

I have created a program that is all inclusive, something that cannot be found anywhere else. Empowering breeders to be able to stand in their own space and run their programs as a professional will change the face of breeding. By aligning breeders by a common code of ethics we will rise together. A beautiful thing is happening, breeders are acknowledging their worth and power to create dogs that heal hearts and change lives. And in doing so, the public is taking notice at our unity, our standards and our passion.
